She posted double figures in kills in all four matches, coming a kill shy of matching a career high in two of the contests with 16 kills in wins over Pittsburg State and Black Hills State. Thomas produced her first career double-double with 12 kills and 10 digs in LCU's loss to Dixie State.
Lindsey Smith, West Texas A&M, dominated on the front row for the Lady Buffs last weekend as WT went 3-1 at the Skyhawk Volleyball Classic in Durango with wins over Texas A&M International, Adams State and Fort Lewis while falling to #4 Washburn to move to 6-1 overall on the season. The Fort Worth native earned All-Tournament accolades as the senior registered 47 kills on 78 swings with just four attack errors to hit .551 on the weekend to go along with one assist, two aces, five digs and eight total blocks (one solo, seven assisted) to score 53.5 points.       Brooke Clark, DBU, helped lead the Lady Patriots to a perfect 5-0 mark last week, totaling a team-high 72 points and leading DBU with 65 kills.  Clark also posted a .227 hitting percentage on the week as the Lady Patriots knocked off East Central on Tuesday, before winning all four matches in the 2019 Pioneer/Patriot Tournament.
Melanie Casteel, Texas A&M-Kingsville, led the Javelinas in kills in every match during the Emerald Beach Hotel Invitational, as TAMUK collected three wins in five tries. She also crafted a hitting percentage of .323 in 130 attacks with 58 kills, an average of 3.41 per set and 10 total blocks. Her best performance came in a sweep of Westminster, as she piled up 18 smashes against only three errors while attacking at .441 clip. In four of TAMUK's nine matches in 2019, Casteel has posted a kill rate of better than .400.
Alexa McAndrew, St. Edward’s, paced the Hilltoppers to a 3-1 weekend, averaging 3.69 points per set. She also led SEU in digs per set 3.46. Had a team high 19 kills against Westminster.
Sydney Andersen, Texas A&M-Commerce, was a strong offensive presence for the No. 20 Lions last week at the Colorado Premier Challenge. She also had 11 kills in the team's four-set win against West Florida and 13 kills in the team's five-set loss to No. 12 Central Missouri.

The team's 89 digs were the highest by a NCAA Division II program this season in a three-set match (the highest last season was 104 by Upper Iowa).
