All 14 Lone Star Conference women’s soccer teams have played at least five league matches. Angelo State (4-0-1) has the points lead with 13, followed by Midwestern State (3-0-3) with 12. No. 9 DBU (3-0-2), UT Tyler (3-1-2) and St. Mary’s (3-1-2) all have 11.
As far as statistical leaders, UT Tyler has the top scoring average at 2.909 goals per match, followed by MSU (2.455) and DBU (2.0). The Patriots are also tops on opponent’s average, allowing a league-low .36 goals per match. ASU (.50), Texas Woman’s (.70) and DBU (.89) are next in line. Individually, Oklahoma Christian’s Kyla Lovelace of owns the points lead 19 (nine goals and one assist). UT Tyler’s Natalie Jones leads the LSC with five game-winning goals – two more than anyone else – while teammate Emily Clark leads the league with a .348 goals-against average. ASU’s Amber Lockwood has a league-high seven shutouts.
The LSC Women’s Soccer Championship is set for Nov. 12, 15 and 17. Quarterfinals will be on campus, while the semifinals and championship match will be at the site of the No. 1 seed.

OFFENSIVE
Avery Putnam, West Texas A&M, MF, So., Mechanical Engineering, Austin, Texas
West Texas A&M sophomore midfielder Avery Putman had the LSC’s first hat trick of the season, leading the Lady Buffs to a 4-0 win over Sul Ross State. Putman had goals in the fourth, 22nd and 65th minutes. Putman also helped WT snap a three-match skid with the program’s first hat trick since 2022. She is tied for third in the league in goals (six) and tied for second in game-winning goals (three).
DEFENSIVE
Katelyn Walerczyk, UT Tyler, D, Jr., McKinney, Texas
UT Tyler junior defender Katelyn Walerczyk was instrumental in an unbeaten week that included a tie at No. 9 DBU. In addition to defense, Walerczyk scored a goal and added an assist in a shutout of UT Permian Basin. In the first half of the 1-1 draw against DBU, Walerczyk made a key save on her own goal line. Walerczyk and company have allowed just four goals over 11 matches this season with eight shutouts.
GOALKEEPER

Texas Woman’s senior goalkeeper Amanda Farris made nine saves over two shutouts in a pair of 0-0 matches. Farris, who has shutouts in her last three matches and six clean sheets overall, played all 180 minutes against Oklahoma Christian and Texas A&M International. She had six stops against OC, which had scored seven goals over its previous two matches.
