Texas Woman's junior
Anna Cheek earned Lone Star Conference STUNT Athlete of the Year honors and leads the league's 2025 award winners, it was announced Thursday (March 27) at the championship banquet ahead of the LSC STUNT Championship, which starts on Friday at DBU.
A junior, Cheek competes as a tumbler for TWU and serves as a team captain. She enters the postseason recording the Pioneers' highest individual ranking. In Quarter 3 Jumps and Tumbling rounds, Cheek posted power rankings of 250 for the overall season and 127 in LSC games.
St. Mary's base/tumbler
Isabella Reyes was selected Freshman of the Year. Reyes competes in Quarter 1 partner stunts and Quarter 2 pyramids and opens the LSC Championship with Quarter 2 power ratings of 80 for the overall season and 54 in LSC games.
The DBU coaching staff was voted Coaching Staff of the Year for the 2025 season. The Patriots staff, the co-Coaching Staff of the Year in 2024, is led by Head Coach Callie Taylor with assistance from Mattie Royal and Katyn Yarborough.
Overall, 31 student-athletes earned LSC STUNT recognition as voted by the conference head coaches.
