LSC STUNT Championship Central
Dallas Baptist secured its third straight Lone Star Conference Stunt championship trophy with a 33-12 win over Texas Woman’s in the title game on Saturday (March 28).
DBU took steadily built an 11-4 lead after two quarters, and outscored TWU 6-3 for a 10-point, 17-7, advantage after quarter 3 jumps and tumbling. Solid team routines in the last quarter translated to 16 DBU points, a 33-12 final score and new LSC champion trophy for the Patriots’ showcase. DBU heads into the national postseason with a 15-3 record.
Texas Woman's, who made its first appearance in the LSC championship game, put together impressive second day tournament performance. The Pioneers (16-15) began Saturday winning the quarterfinal game 25-3 to eliminate Texas A&M-Kingsville (6-16) from the tournament and advance to the tournament semifinal vs. St. Mary’s.
In the semifinal, St. Mary’s (9-11) led 11-9 at the halftime break before TWU outscored the Rattlers 6-4 in quarter three and tied play at 15-15 heading into the fourth quarter. With one routine remaining in the game and the score knotted 25-25, TWU won the routine 3-2 and record a 28-27 win over StMU. It was the Pioneers’ first win in four games vs. the Rattlers in the 2026 season.
