Four teams remain in pursuit of the LSC Stunt championship

DALLAS --- Day one of the Lone Star Conference Stunt Championship concluded with four teams advancing to the final day of the tournament and a shot at the 2026 tournament title.
 
Saturday's championship day begins with Texas Woman's and Texas A&M-Kingsville competing in the 11 a.m. quarterfinal game. The winner of the quarterfinal moves on to meet St. Mary's at 12:30 p.m. in the semifinal. Top-seed DBU and the winner of the semifinal game play in the 2 p.m. championship game with the Patriots having a chance at a third straight LSC championship.
 
The double-elimination conference tournament opened Friday with No. 4 seed Texas A&M-Kingsville taking a 23-8 win vs. No. 5 seed St. Edward's followed by No. 2 seed St. Mary's taking a close game vs. No. 3 seed Texas Woman's, 28-22. Top seed DBU then sent TAMUK to the lower bracket with a 25-1 win.
 
In game four, TWU eliminated St. Edward's with a 21-1 win to setup the quarterfinal game vs. TAMUK while DBU posted a 31-14 win in the last game of the day, handing St. Mary's its first tournament loss.
