Getting Started. The first season of Lone Star Conference STUNT competition has gotten off to a fast start, with two weekends of play for all four teams completed. ... The month of February closes with Texas Woman's at St. Mary's in a Friday night LSC contest (Feb. 23) and DBU at Oklahoma Baptist for three games Saturday and Sunday (Feb. 24-25). UT Tyler is idle.
Conference Schedule. The 2024 LSC regular season for STUNT has each of the teams playing one conference contest against each opposing team. The results determine seeds for the four-team conference championship March 23. ... Two teams are slated to join the conference STUNT lineup in 2025 – Texas A&M-Kingsville and St. Edward's.
Celebrating Division II. February 22 is a special date for Division II as 293 active member institutions, 23 conferences and over 126,000 student-athletes will celebrate DII Day – 2/22. The day serves as an opportunity for all associated with Division II to highlight the impact of athletics and student-athletes on their campuses and communities.

LSC STUNT Championship. The inaugural Lone Star Conference STUNT Championship is set for Saturday, March 23, hosted by the No. 1 seeded team. Semifinals will be at 11:30 a.m. and 1 p.m., followed by the third-place game at 2:30 p.m. and the championship at 4 p.m. STUNT is the 19th Lone Star Conference championship sport.

STUNTER
Isabel Soto, St. Mary's, Backspot, So., English Language Arts, San Antonio, Texas (Taft HS)
Isabel Soto was named to the player of the game against Southern Nazarene after collecting 37 points for St. Mary's in its 19-1 win. The backspot also earned stunter of the game in the Rattler's come-from-behind win against Drury (13-9). The sophomore competed in every single partner stunt performed in all 32 routines over the four games, racking up 58 points for the weekend.
TUMBLER
Addison Hatfield, DBU, Flyer/Tumbler, Fr., Pre-Nursing, Houston, Texas (Bellaire HS)
Addison Hatfield helped lift DBU to three wins at the Patriot Classic, including a 15-10 victory over the University of Texas. With injuries to the Patriots' upper-level tumbles, the freshman flyer/tumbler jumped into new spots in JT 7 and JT 8, as DBU kept its 2024 season records unblemished (4-0, LSC 2-0).
