Western Oregon rallies for 21-18 win over Eastern New Mexico: Western Oregon shook off a scoreless first half to rally for a 21-18 road win over Eastern New Mexico at Al Whitehead Field. Trailing 10-0, WOU took the opening drive of the second half 75 yards on eight plays capped by a Jordan McCarty five-yard TD run. Carson Workman had a one-yard TD run with 14:14 to play to give the Wolves their first lead. McCarty found the end zone again, this time on an 11-yard run with 4:56 left to give WOU its first lead, 21-10. ENMU got a four-yard TD run from Chad Ragle with 1:22 left to complete the scoring. McCarty finished with 120 yards on 17 attempts as WOU totaled 229 rushing yards. Malcolm Liufau had nine tackles and a half sack to lead the WOU defense. Ragle was 6-for-6 passing and also threw a TD.  ENMU was led on defense by Aaron Warren’s 12 tackles. Complete Release

 
No. 13 Central Washington tops No. 6 UT Permian Basin 27-14 in battle of conference unbeatens: No. 13 Central Washington used a 17-point fourth-quarter to top No. 6 UT Permian Basin 27-14 at Ratliff Stadium. The top-15 showdown featured the two LSC teams remaining without a conference loss. With UTPB leading 14-10 with just 3:15 to play, CWU used a six-yard touchdown run by Kennedy McGill and then a 44-yard field goal by David Weber to build a 20-14 lead. Javonte Walker sealed the Wildcats’ win with an interception returned for a TD with 18 seconds remaining. McGill finished with 81 yards rushing and Justice Taylor had 100 yards and a TD on 20 attempts. Weber also made a 40-yard field goal. Chad Loidhamer (seven tackles), Mikaoi Edward and Matulino Masunu all had a sack to help lead the CWU defense, which allowed just 50 yards rushing. Kanon Gibson threw TD passes in the first and third quarter for UTPB. Tristan Exline made a game-high19 tackles – 13 solo – and Jacob Humphrey added a sack and forced a fumble to lead the Falcons’ defense. Midwestern State cruises by Sul Ross State, 69-23: Midwestern State found the end zone 10 times – the most since the 2022 season – to top Sul Ross State 69-23 on the road at Jackson Field. MSU ran for 335 yards, led by Reginald Williams (157 yards on 15 carries) and Jaden Coulter (116 yards on 10 carries). Sean Jastrab was 25-for-30 passing for 256 yards and six TDs with no interceptions. Two of those TD passes were to Cedonyae Lott. Kohen Maroney made all nine of his extra-point attempts. Keltyn Raymond had a two-sack game and Carson Roper had an interception for MSU. Kye Callicoatte threw for 213 yards and ran for 75 more, scoring three TDs to lead the Lobos’ offense with Isaiah Pena (seven catches for 101 yards and a TD). Evian Thompson (17), Brendon Martin (12) and Darryl Monor Jr. (10) had double-digit tackles for SRSU. MSU led 56-16 at halftime.  Complete Release

 
Texas A&M-Kingsville upsets No. 12 Angelo State, 24-19: Texas A&M-Kingsville scored a touchdown in every quarter and held off No. 12 Angelo State for a 24-19 win at Javelina Stadium. It was TAMUK’s first win over ASU since 2012. With the score tied 10-10 at halftime, the Javelinas got a 34-yard TD pass from Jack Turner to Ivan Thomas for the only score in the third quarter. ASU got a 26-yard field goal from Rance Purser, but TAMUK answered with a 27-yard scoring run by Edward Chumley with 8:51 to play. ASU created the final result with a four-yard TD pass from Kaeden Smith to Corey Sandolph with 1:13 left. Turner finished 26 of 43 for 294 yards passing for two TDs and Chumley ran for 150 on 28 carries and two scores. King Phillips had six catches for 124 yards. Charlie Moore recorded nine tackles, Eric Barnes and Tre Robbins had sacks and Leo Lane Jr. pulled in an interception to lead TAMUK’s defense. Sandolph finished with four catches for 82 yards. Alex Bouloubasis (14) and Xavier Walton (12) had double-digit tackles for ASU. Walton and Owen Seaver also had sacks. Complete Release
