After four weeks of Lone Star Conference women’s soccer league matches, two teams remain unbeaten: No. 3 DBU (11-0, 7-0 LSC) and Midwestern State (6-1-4, 6-0-2 LSC).
 
Following DBU, the top winning streak is four by MSU and ASU (5-2-4, 4-1-2 LSC). UT Tyler (8-1-2, 5-1-2) has won three in a row. St. Edward’s (4-6-2, 3-3-2 LSC) has won back-to-back games.
 
DBU has the top scoring average in the league at 3.46 goals per game, followed by Texas Woman’s (2.75) and MSU (2.18). DBU is also allowing a league-low .27 goals per game. UTT is next at .55 and then TWU (.58).
 
Conference play resumes on Wednesday (Oct. 15) with seven games followed by seven more matches on Saturday (Oct. 18).
 
DBU senior defender Parker Coe was named United Soccer Coaches National Player of the Month for September. She became the first player in program history to earn the prestigious honor.
 
DBU is the favorite to win the LSC title this season, according the preseason poll. Coe, SEU’s Annie Rocha and TWU’s Amanda Farris were voted preseason players of the year.
 
The LSC women's soccer tournament will feature the top eight teams and is set for Nov. 7 (first round), Nov. 10 (quarterfinals), Nov. 13 (semifinals) and Nov. 16 (final). The first round and quarterfinal matches are played at the site of the higher seed. The semifinals and final rounds are hosted by the No. 1 seed.

LONE STAR CONFERENCE WOMEN’S SOCCER PLAYERS OF THE WEEK

OFFENSIVE
Anne Louthan, DBU, MF, Sr., Interdisciplinary Studies, Colorado Springs, Colo.
DBU senior midfielder Anne Louthan scored all four goals of the No. 3-ranked Patriots’ 4-1 road win over UT Dallas. The four goals are the most scored in a single game in the LSC this season and most for DBU since 2012. Eight points is also a season-high in the conference. Louthan tied the match on a header in the 17th minute, then netted the game-winner in the 61st minute. Louthan’s performance kept DBU perfect on the season at 11-0.
 
DEFENSIVE
Mable Pruter, Midwestern State, D, Sr., Exercise Physiology, Montgomery, Texas
Midwestern State senior defender Mable Pruter fueled two shutout wins and added three points against West Texas A&M and Sul Ross State. Pruter played all 180 minutes as the Mustangs extended their winning streak to four games and unbeaten streak to nine. Against WT, Pruter led a unit that did not allow a shot on goal and added an assist. Against SRSU, she scored her first career goal,
 
GOALKEEPER
Daria Schlumbohm, St. Edward’s, GK, Jr., Academic Exploration, Bremen, Germany.
St. Edward’s junior goalkeeper Daria Schlubohm helped lead the Hilltoppers to a 2-0 week by not allowing a goal against Eastern New Mexico or UT Permian Basin. Schlubohm had three saves in a 1-0 shutout against UTPB. Schlubohm has not allowed a goal in three of her last four matches.
