Midwestern State cruises past Western New Mexico, 70-23: Cedonyae Lott caught 11 passes for a program-record 284 yards and four touchdowns to lead Midwestern State past Western New Mexico 70-23 at Ben Altamirano Field. MSU totaled 515 yards of offense as it snapped a four-game skid. Lott’s TDs were all thrown by Sean Jastrab, who was 21-for-31 with no interceptions. Lott’s receiving yardage is the most in a single game in all of NCAA Division II this season. His teammate Case Peacock caught six passes for 109 yards and two scores, while Reginald Williams rushed for 113 yards on 13 carries. Defensively, Carson Roper and Zain Toliver each had interceptions for MSU. Kohen Maroney made three field goals and all seven of his extra-point attempts. Davey Morales caught six passes for 131 yards and a TD for WNMU.

Texas A&M-Kingsville pulls away from Eastern New Mexico, 45-28: Texas A&M-Kingsville went on a 21-point run in the second half to pull away for a 45-28 win at Al Whitehead Field at Steve Loy Family Foundation Stadium. With a 24-21 lead at halftime, the Javelinas used touchdowns from Lawrence Starks, Kevin Holmes Jr. and Jack Turner to win their second consecutive game. Turner finished 31-for-40 for 363 yards passing for two TDs and Holmes caught 13 passes for 157 yards. Max Alvarez returned a fumble 83 yards for a TD for the game’s first score and Harrison McKinley had an interception to lead TAMUK defensively. ENMU’s Demarion Finch ran for 126 yards and a TD on 16 carries. Matthew Quartieri had a game-high 14 tackles – 1.5 for loss – and an INT for ENMU. Dylan Quartieri had 13 tackles.

No. 6 Central Washington claims LSC title with thrilling 19-17 victory over No. 24 Western Oregon: Kennedy McGill found Logan Brady in the end zone as time expired to lift No. 6 Central Washington over No. 24 Western Oregon 19-17 and the outright LSC title at McArthur Field. It was the first LSC championship for CWU, who finished a perfect 9-0 in league play. WOU finished 7-2 in conference play and had its six-game winning streak snapped. CWU trailed 17-3 entering the fourth quarter. McGill then had a 29-yard TD run and David Weber made a 33-yard field goal to set the stage for the game-winning TD, which went for 13 yards. McGill passed for 157 yards and ran for 93. Chase Coalson had 10 tackles, Tyler King and Mikaio Edward each had 1.5 sacks and King Williams had an interception to lead CWU’s defense. WOU’s Jordan McCarty passed for 132 yards and ran for 64 and Malcolm Liufau had 15 tackles and forced a fumble to lead WOU.

West Texas A&M rallies for 45-44 victory over Angelo State: West Texas A&M overcame a 20-point deficit in the third quarter and got a last-second touchdown grab by Zach Phipps to record a 45-44 win over Angelo State at Buffalo Stadium. It was the third consecutive win for WT, who finished 7-2 in league play. Jamel Acosta-Lewis blocked a punt with less than two minutes left to set up WT’s game-winning drive that ended with a one-yard pass from RJ Martinez. WT’s quarterback finished 35-for-54 for 424 yards passing and five TDs – three to Sean Johnson (14 catches for 237 yards). Martinez also rushed for 58 yards and a score. Miles Hill had 12 tackles for WT. Ayden Arp threw for 189 yards and two TDs and ran for 144 yards and a score for ASU. Israel Kaloso also ran for 133 yards and three TDs. Marquis Brown led the Rams with 11 tackles.

No. 15 UTPB rolls past Sul Ross State, 74-10: Kanon Gibson passed for five touchdowns to lead an offense that racked up 639 yards and No. 15 UT Permian Basin cruised to a 74-10 win over Sul Ross State. It was the fourth straight win for UTPB, which finished 7-2 in LSC play. Head coach Kris McCullough became the Falcons’ all-time wins leader with 26. Gibson was 26-for-50 and five different receivers caught TDs, led by Jaylon Tillman’s two. Tristan Exline had 10 tackles and Kharel Coney had an interception for UTPB, which led 32-10 at halftime. SRSU’s Kye Callicoatte passed for 189 yards – 134 to Yamil Oaxaca – and a TD. Evian Thompson had 10 tackles and Brendon Martin had an INT for the Lobos.
