No. 1 DBU is the Lone Star Conference women’s soccer 
regular season champion for the sixth time in the last seven. Heading into the final day of the regular season (Tuesday, Nov. 4), the Patriots are a program-best 16-0 overall and 12-0 in conference play. They are the only unbeaten team in the NCAA at any level.
 
The LSC women's soccer tournament will feature the top eight teams and is set for Nov. 7 (first round), Nov. 10 (quarterfinals), Nov. 13 (semifinals) and Nov. 16 (final). The first round and quarterfinal matches are played at the site of the higher seed. The semifinals and final rounds will be hosted by No. 1 seed DBU at Patriot Soccer Field in Dallas, Texas.
 
Due to LSC matches not played because of weather, the conference standings have been adjusted from a point system to “points per match.” To see the tie-breaker policy, click

The LSC All-Conference and All-Academic teams will be announced Nov. 12 live at the LSC Women’s Soccer Championship Banquet and on LoneStarConference.org.
 
Due to being NCAA Division II provisional members, UTD and Sul Ross State are not eligible for the LSC tournament but were able to win the regular season title and can win postseason awards.
 
DBU has the top scoring average in the league at 3.875 goals per game, followed by Midwestern State (2.313) and Texas Woman’s (2.294). DBU is also allowing a league-low .19 goals per game. UT Tyler is next at .56, then Angelo State (.65) and TWU (.76).
 
The LSC has had three players earn national honors this season. DBU senior defender Parker Coe was named 
United Soccer Coaches National Player of the Month for September. She became the first player in program history to earn the honor. DBU senior midfielder Anne Louthan was named 
Division II Conference Information Directors Association (D2SIDA) National Player of the Week on Oct. 16, then St. Mary’s junior forward Elena Kossler 
won the honor on Oct. 28.
 
DBU was the favorite to win the LSC title this season, according the 
preseason poll. Coe, St. Edward’s Annie Rocha and TWU’s Amanda Farris were voted 
preseason players of the year.

LONE STAR CONFERENCE WOMEN’S SOCCER PLAYERS OF THE WEEK

OFFENSIVE
McKenna Vela, DBU, F, Jr., Finance, Weatherford, Texas
DBU junior forward McKenna Vela scored three goals and dished out three assists to help the No. 1-ranked Patriots defeat Sul Ross State on the road and win the LSC regular season championship. Vela recorded her first career hat trick in a span of only 10 minutes. Her nine points is tied for the most in a single game in the conference this season. Vela ranks in the top 3 in the LSC in goals (10), assists (seven) and points (27). Her play has helped DBU to a 16-0 record.
 
DEFENSIVE
Parker Coe, DBU, D, Sr., Education, Carrollton, Texas
DBU senior defender Parker Coe anchored a unit that allowed just one shot over two shutout wins against Sul Ross State and West Texas A&M. Coe, who wins the league’s top weekly defensive award for the second time this season, also added two goals and an assist as the No. 1-ranked Patriots secured the LSC title. Coe and company have a league-best 13 shutouts this season.
 
GOALKEEPER
Faith Graves, Texas Woman’s, GK, So., Education, Rockwall, Texas
Texas Woman’s sophomore goalkeeper Faith Graves helped lead a 2-0 week by posting two clean sheets against Oklahoma Christian and St. Edward’s. Graves had a combined eight saves – four in each game. In just four starts this season, Graves now has three consecutive shutouts. She has helped the Pioneers stay unbeaten six times over their last seven matches.
