2025-26 Scoreboard
The fourth week of the fall men’s and women’s golf season will have the Lone Star Conference competing in tournaments against teams from the South Central and West Regions.
LSC Women
Eight LSC teams close the September portion of their 2025-26 schedule heading to Amarillo, Texas, and La Paloma Golf Club for the
WT Fall Invitational Monday and Tuesday (Sept. 29-20). Host West Texas A&M is joined by LSC rivals Angelo State, Cameron, Lubbock Christian, Midwestern State, Texas A&M-Kingsville, UT Permian Basin and Western New Mexico as well as squads from the Division II South Central and West Regions.
Week Three
- DBU Classic (36 holes, Sept. 22-23): LSC teams went one-two-three at the rain-shortened DBU Classic with the host Patriots claiming the win behind a tournament-low 282 in the final round (566-284, 282). UT Tyler finished second (576-292, 284) and Midwestern State tied third (583-294, 289). St. Mary’s tied at eighth and UT Permian Basin was 13th in a field featuring nine ranked teams. DBU’s Madison Ude carded a nine-under 135 (68, 67) to win the individual title by four strokes as eight LSC players finished in the Top 10.
- High Country Shootout (36 holes, Sept. 22-23): Falyn Lackey carded a five-over 147 (69, 68) to finish fifth on the player board in leading Western New Mexico to a third-place tie at the High Country Shootout (612-302, 310). Alexandria Klemke shot 151 (73, 78) for 11th.

LSC Men
A trip to Akumal, Mexico, the Tulum Country Club, and the
Shootout at PGA Riviera Maya awaits seven LSC teams on Sunday, Monday and Tuesday (Sept. 28-30). The LSC contingent not only get an early look at league competition but also a chance to check out South Central and West Region teams from the both the RMAC and CCAA.
Week Three
- San Juan Intercollegiate (54 holes, Sept. 22-23): West Texas A&M (833), Cameron (836), Western New Mexico (841) and Lubbock Christian (844) finished two-three-four-five at the San Juan Intercollegiate. WT’s Luis Palomo and LCU’s Hayden Bowman posted red-hot opening rounds to go on and claim the top two spots on the player board. Palomo shot 197 (64, 68, 65) for a two-stroke win over Bowman (199-62, 68, 69) whose round one 62 (9-under) was an LCU program-best.
- Dunning Invitational (54 holes, Sept. 22-23): Midwestern State tied for fifth (890-299, 298, 293) and UT Tyler (8th/896) and UT Dallas (9th/898) finished in the Top 10 at the Dunning Invitational. UT Tyler’s Preston Chabaud recorded the lowest round in the tournament -- a five-under 67 for the first round (218-67, 77, 74) -- and finished tied at 12th with Midwestern State’s Seth Bearden (218-73, 73, 72).
- ENMU-Ruidoso High Country Shootout (54 holes, Sept. 22-23): Western New Mexico sent two players to the High Country Shootout with Elijah Salizar carding a five-under 211 (70, 70, 71).

WOMEN
Madison Ude, DBU, Jr., Accounting, Keller, Texas
DBU junior Madison Ude led the top-ranked Patriots to their first victory of the fall season and captured top medalist honors at the DBU Classic with a two-round 9-under 135 (68, 67). It marked Ude's first career win as she led the 83-player field with 14 birdies and posted a round one eagle on hole No. 13, a 540-yard par 5. Ude’s second day 67 was the lowest individual round at the tournament.
MEN
Luis Palomo, West Texas A&M, Sr., Finance, Barcelona, Spain
Luis Palomo registered the second individual victory of the season for West Texas A&M as the senior won the the San Juan Collegiate in Montrose, Colo. Palomo led the charge for the Buffs, finishing first overall with an impressive 16-under 197 to win the individual title by two strokes. Paloma recorded rounds of 64, 68 and 65, plus a pair of eagles in leading WT to a runner-up team finish.
